How to get a copy of your prescription:

When you have your eyes tested at your optician, they are required, by law, to give you a copy after the eye test is finished. You do not have to buy your glasses from their shop, no matter how hard they try to sell them to you. Alternatively, if you have a copy from a previous test, and its less than 2 years old, you can use this for ordering from us.

Just choose a frame from our selection, then enter you prescription details in the form on the screen, then choose your lenses.

How to choose the correct lenses:

Single Vision lenses are the standard lens we use. If you have short-sighted vision, or long-sighted vision, they are made to your prescription. Not recommended for people who have been advised by the optician to get bifocal or varifocal lenses.

Bifocal lenses These are lenses that have two different strengths. They come with an extra charge of only £20. We recommend that you only order these if your optician has advised them for you.

How to read your prescription:

The prescription will have a Right eye section and a Left eye section.

In each of these sections, there are columns with Sph Cyl Axis Prism and Base. A distance line and a near line. Any values in these columns just have to be entered into the prescription form online.
